The watercolor print has soft, bled edges rather than the crisp lines of a screen-printed repeat, which is what makes it read closer to a painting than a textile pattern. There are two small construction and lining issues worth knowing about: a quarter-inch gap at the back of the ruffle collar that was never caught in the seam and has frayed slightly, and a 1-inch seam unravel at the right armhole lining — both photographed, neither affecting the coat's overall structure. Ruffled trim at the edges is otherwise the only embellishment, with the print doing the rest of the work.
